1971:
Born in Umeå/Sweden, in a family with a big music tradition

1985:
Pick up the guitar, played around with friends.

1989:
Started my first band, Southern Comfort later on called Dogbreath.
Spend about a million hours in a rehearsal room,
Did a few gigs and lots of Demos.

1995:
End of Dog breath.

Sold my apartment and invested a recording studio “Jimmy’s Garage”
Located at my parents house.

Involved in a Captain Beefheart Project, with Denney Walley (Zappa Guitarist)
Freddie Wadling, Morgan Ågren etc. and did 3 shows.

1996:
Released my first solo album Get This Into Your Head, where I played
All instruments my self.

Touring with Denny Walley, and recorded his solo album
Spare Parts in my studio.

Joined Mats&Morgan Band. And did a couple of gigs.
Simon Ågren Is borned.

1997:
Spare Parts is released, followed by a tour with Denny.

Put together and toured Jimmy Ågren Band Band, witch included
Mats&Morgan, Freddie Wadling. Later on also with Denny
Walley as a special guest.

1997-2000:
Touring on and off with Jimmy Ågren Band and Mats/Morgan Band.

2001:
Second solo album Glass Finger Ghost is released.
Touring J.Å Band with Freddie Wadling

Recorded 10 TV episodes with Mats/Morgan Band called “Trum”
Witch included one performance with J.Å Band playing
“She’s Louder Than Me”

2002:
Received 50 000: - kr from Swedish council of arts and
improved my studio.

Played at a blues festival in Italy, “Blues Sotto Le Stelle”
along with Ten Years After etc.
New Singer in J.Å band called Thomas Ziden.

2003:
Touring in Japan, France, and Belgium with Mats/Morgan Band.

Played with Mike Keneally, Napoleon Murphy Brock,
Denny Walley, etc. at a Zappa tribute festival in Umeå/Sweden.
Played “She’s Louder Than Me” with J.Å Band,
joined by Mike Keneally. . Great fun! !

2004
Releasing my third solo album Close Enough For Jazz.
Received 65 000: - kr from Swedish council of arts to
finance the release of Close Enough For Jazz.
Made a few gigs in Sweden and France with JÅB.
Touring in US with Mats/Morgan Band.
recording lots of songs for the next cd.

2005
Touring in France with Jimmy Ågren Band and
Mats Morgan band for 3 weeks.
Gets a jobat a radio station for the rest of the year, and
taking a break from J.Å.B

2007
Back on the Scene, recording a lot of new material
Joining a new band with Micke Maksymenko Ralf Nygård
Mathias Danielsson, Micke known from Kräldjursanstalten.

2008

Releasing Various Phobias ,put together a live DVD from
it's Releaseparty
